A ‘curriculum’ is a list of content to be taught and learnt. From September 2014, schools in England follow a new National Curriculum, a course of study decided by the Department for Education. Click here for a link to National Curriculum guidelines we follow.
Through our broad and balanced curriculum we aim to enable children to grow into informed, independent people, who can work and co-operate with others while developing knowledge and skills, so that they achieve their true potential.
We teach our curriculum through a cross-curricular themed approach, which helps the children to make links between knowledge, skills and understanding across the different subjects. Our vision reflects the value we place upon tolerance, respect, understanding and good citizenship and this can be seen within our engaging and exciting curriculum, as well as the SACRE document we use to support our teaching of RE.
If you would like to know more abore about our curriculum please read the documents below or speak with your child's class teacher. They will be happy to help.
