We place great importance on an active partnership between home and school and we believe that only through working closely with parents and carers we will be able to achieve the best for our children.
We hold parent consultation meetings each term to discuss your child’s progress towards the achievement of their personalised targets. Our termly monitoring reports to parents are used as a basis for very productive discussion and parental feedback is always invited to ensure that these sessions are as effective as possible.
Workshop sessions are held for a variety of different purposes. Whether you are interested in hearing more about how we teach maths or would like to help plan fundraising or extended schools programmes, we encourage your participation.
Our open door policy is appreciated by parents who can arrange to visit classrooms and speak to staff at any convenient time. Family learning takes place in every classroom from 8.40 to 9am every day. Please feel free to drop in and support your child in their learning. Staff will be in class at the start of the day and are generally available at the end of each day.
