Each class has two school councillors who are elected every year.
A School Council is an ideal opportunity for pupils to get more involved in the way the school is run. It is made up with representatives from each class who have been voted by other pupils.
Each school councillor needs the following qualities:
To behave like a role model
Have excellent listening skills
Respect the views of others
Be good at explaining things
Be able to work well with others
Enthusiasm and energy
Be reliable and willing to give up their own time
SCHOOL COUNCIL UPDATE
Our School Councillors have been working with Miss Lee to re-introduce an opportunity for children to play football at break-time. The have produced a timetable so everyone gets a fair chance. On Monday’s, girls from any year group can play. Tuesday to Friday has been allocated to Y3-Y6 boys. So far, it is going really well and everyone is enjoying playing. If the playtime trial continues to be a success the School Council will look at introducing football at lunchtimes.

Today we discussed what we have planned to do to support Children In Need.
