School Day

Our school day runs from 8:40am to 3:10pm every day.

School gates are opened between 8:35am and 9:00am each morning, and 3:00pm and 3:20pm each afternoon.

Please see the information below for further information about our school day.

Breakfast Club 8:00am – 8:50am
Please see here for further information about our school Breakfast Club.

Family Learning 8:40am- 8:50am
Parents and families are able to join children in their classroom from 8:40am to take part in a learning activity to get the children ready for the day.

If you are unable to stay with your child, then they are still able to come into their classrooms at this time and complete the activity on their own, with a friend or with a member of staff.

Break 10:30am -10:45am
During break time we run a ‘Healthy Snack Bar’ where children can buy low-cost healthy snacks such as crackers, fruit or milkshakes from the kitchen. Children can also bring in their own healthy snacks for break time.

During break time we run a rota for football and basketball, along with other games, to encourage our children to stay fit and active.

Lunchtime
Year 3 and Year 4 - 11:45am-12:45pm
Year 5 and Year 6 - 12:15pm-1:15pm

Children can choose to have a school meal or bring in a healthy packed lunch. During the summer children can eat their packed lunches outside on our picnic benches and mats.

During lunch times we offer a variety of different activities to keep our children busy and active! The ‘Dinner Disco’ is always popular, as is football and basketball (which run on a rota), skipping, chalking and other activities run by our mid-day supervisors, Sports Leaders and PE apprentice.

After School Clubs - 3:10pm – 4:15pm

We aim to offer a variety of after school clubs throughout the year. Some clubs we have run in the past are: Karate, craft club, boxercise, archery, dodgeball, film club and football.

We inform families of our after school clubs via the weekly newsletter and ParentMail.
